Civil War

  In this comment, I follow Frank Pastore's blog on the civil war between so called liberal Christians and conservative Christians. On Hugh Hewitt's blog now, is a debate on whether Amazing Grace, the story of Wilburforce had as much impact as the film avers. In other words, has Christianity really accomplished any impact for social justice. Or is the political , social, economic efforts of politicians, writers, Muckrakers, fadists, socialists via revolutions in nations since the American, French, Russian revolutions the real work of true social justice? Liberals aver it was the Revolutionary spirit of men not the church, missionaries, or Christian movers like Wilburforce or any other Christian that has bettered mankind. I disagree and tie that effort of the liberal Christians such as Wallis and Campolo to their belief that real morality is done in legislation, Aids work, redistribution of wealth, labor laws, a minimum wage, HIV efforts, acceptance of other life styles and cultures with little judgment. That seems to me to be just a reworking of the Revolutionary fervor of socialists who think a New Deal, a Great Society will actually transform humanity into better people while at the same time feeding them. Dependence never seems to come into their factoring. Nor does the fact that real transformation of the spirit comes only from the Creator God, Jesus Christ. One wag wrote, you can be a Christian but not a liberal. I will not go that far but it sure stretches the Gospel and its grace and standards when one sees Liberalism first and then adding on Jesus. Whether that can be done is the real civil war that is still going on and will be debated , my guess is, till Jesus comes again.

    I find Frank to be very accurate today as he dissects the leftist version of Christianity today. The internicene warfare between the Wallis-Campolo liberals who think Global Warming is a real moral problem and the ConservEvangelicals like Dobson and Frank and myself along with tens of thousands of other conservative Christians who believe that there are so many real moral problems facing our nation , communities and the world which are not economic in their foundation is accelerating. Granted that I do think social justice is part of the Christian call, the all out call for pacifist socialism sounds more like the Democrat Party than the Church! More after I return from Church.  A good Bible based Conservative Church!

The Homosexual agenda

  There is a good article by Cliff Kincaid in  Accuracy in Media today on the gay agenda in the media and just who supports it. Also, on WorldnetDaily, the articles on homosexual agendas in school districts, Mass., and others, is just appalling.Since most media will not describe this so called alternative "Moral' lifestyle, anal sex and other such appalling sexual positions, the public is just apathetic enough to think that judging any lifestyle is just 'not appropriate.' Yet, when one reads these articles today, especially how our teens are being brainwashed by these people, these facts are  just astonishing. Talk Radio will not touch this either. Even the best of conserv pundits rarely bring this up. But, this capturing of the schools is just not acceptable. And the Left is always afraid of putting God back in the schools!!! What dolts! If parents do not stand up against this agenda supported by some brave politicians, homosexuality will be as accepted as Islamic extremism in our schools. And yes, acceptance of militant Islam is being tried to by some agenda-driven leftists. And they cry out when people complain that they want to undermine our culture. What hypocrites these leftists are and they get protected by the media with blatant double standards on many of these cultural issues. It is sickening.

God bless Peter Pace

      Isn't it amazing that once more the Homosexual Lobby is screaming bloody murder over what General Peter Pace said about the so called gay lifestyle being immoral.  Just a few days earlier, the Pope came out decrying so called gay marriage. The gay alternative lifestyle is anything but gay. But, for over 45 years now, the homosexual community is Hell Bent, pardon the pun, on brainwashing the public with PC statements that God made them that way , no one can ever bring up the Biblical admonistion that it is a sinful lifestyle, and that all anti-gay talk is Hate Speech. They are even getting states and local communities, universities, et al to pass laws to make it illegal to criticize the homosexual life style or agenda. Churches used to speak out on ALL SIN.  Not just homosexual sin. All sin should be reprimanded not just one type of sin, whether it is homosexual , adulterous, orgy, porn or fornicating sin. Some churches are now protecting homosexual sin from any criticism. Perhaps Pace is a Christian. Boy howdy, that will really rile up the gay lobby. And note, even poor ole John Warner, Republican Senator of Va. says, Pace is just wrong. Bet he heard from lots of gays in Va. There  will be more on this and PC malarky will be thrust down the throats of people who agree with Pace. I wonder just if anyone is concerned about sin in general and whether a Holy God is concerned about it in his creation. My guess is not and since it is near Easter, more articles will come out dissing Christ, holiness, and someone, I will bet , will write that God really approves of homosexuality and it was just that rotten old St. Paul who wrote about it as a sin. After all God approves of anybody and loves everybody and would never judge anyone's lifestyle. Boy, are those people going to be surprised when they assume room temperture.  Oh and BTW, Christians actually believe in accepting homosexuals and any other sinner, since we are all sinners, after they or any sinner repents of their sin and follows Christ. But, you won't hear about that in the liberal press.

A religious , cultural war

   According to some recent articles in religious as well as political commentaries, there is a war , internicine in the Republican Party, between religious conservatives and economic-libertarian-agnostic conservatives. Holy Republican! Now that is a sure way for conservatives, Christians, and Repuiblicans to lose to the secular-humanist-pacifist-socialist Democrats. What fun for the liberal media to exploit. Then there are articles which have the West vs the East in the battle of Islamofascism vs American democratic-capitalism and a Western worldview plus Israel. Note, that Western Europe is simply left out. They are done as a viable civilization which will stand up to defend itself against Islamofascism. Their own states are being literally invaded my Muslim immigrants and their birth rate is so small that Muslims in 15-30 years will outnumber European whites anyhow according to Mark Steyn. So that leaves America and some other states, perhaps India, Japan, some ex-British Commonwealth nations to stand up against Islamofascism. By now, anyone not captured by Globalism will realize that Red China and a repugnant Putin-Russia will not try to stop Islam thinking themselves protected. And Poor President Bush still says, Islam is peace. To add to all this religious horror comes the fact that America is being overrun by illegal immigrants and open borders. This era is beginning to look like the Crusades, Europe during the Reformation Prot.-Catholic wars and WWII all wrapped up in one state of war. One thing is clear to me, and that is that the Republican Party with all sorts of people including the Evangelical group, must unite because the pacifist-socialist Democrat Party will not stand up either against Islamofascism or the decline of our culture via illegal immigration. In fact, we are now engaged in a war for our very survival.

A Conservative electoral comeback??

 There is an article named, 'Don't count out the Conservatives.' I tend to agree but with caveats. If the 'purists' do what they did in Nov., '06, get in a snit and stay at home, vote for Dems out of spite or waste their vote with some silly Third Party, then you can count them out. I can state, as a conservChristianPub, that I will not stay at home in 2008. I will vote for President and all the down tickets even though I am stuck in the soviet republic of California! If Rudy G is the candidate and if Arnold has any sway then, perhaps Rudy can actually capture the state. Of course, for conservs out here to vote for Rudy, it would take a conserv VP on the ticket. I know that conservs are waiting for Ronald Reagan redux.  It is not going to happen. Newt will probably not run after his mea culpa with Dr. Dobson. He probably wants to be a King Maker anyhow. Fred Thompson is simply not a President though he plays one on TV and movies sometimes. Would make a fine VP though. Whoever gets the Pub nomination needs to win some Blue states. That is a necessity. If Rudy is on top of the ticket, he needs a good solid conservative to draw back the recalcitrant conservs who whine about losing  and yet contribute to that very thing. So, don't count out conservatives but don't count them in if they stay in a snit which would doom this Republic to more Dem-leftist-socialist leadership and thus dooming our national security.

Atlantic City Muslim

As a kid from the Jersey Shore, well at least I spent my youth there having been born in Philly, I was astonished and not astonished that the latest Muslim caught at LAX was a guy with wires poking out of him who was from Atlantic City.  Atlantic City??? Are you kidding me? In the '40's to the '60's, the people who freqented AC were usually from Philly, NYC and were older, mostly Jewish and spent time in a decaying city without gambling. Yep, gambling started and then the city became just as iniquitous as Vegas or any other Sin City. Now, we all know by now that illegal immigrants are invading our nation. But, this guy was a legal resident who appears to have been ready to once more deal terror to his new homeland. Many in this nation cry out against profiling. I do not. I am a pragmatic conservative Christian. I know people can be more sinful than anyone in this silly society thinks. Now we have another Muslim who did not wish good to America. If we are really serious about this ongoing Muslim Islamofascism, then we better start profiling Middle Easterners. Any Middle Easterner. Europe has played around with these people for a generation and have lost their culture. How long will America play nice with invaders and 5th Columnists in our nation. And the guy was from Atlantic City for heaven's sake!

BO and Libby

    Well, we now have another travesty of justice from a tainted jury pool in DC. Poor Scooter Libby. He was had and gotten by a prosecutor who was really doing the political hatchet job of the Left, the DNC, Reid, Pelosi and Howard Dean. Throw in the Clintons too. All to undermine Cheney, Bush and any Goper. At the same time, we have two controversies that even the sainted NYTimes is writing about: BO's financial affairs and his association with a controversial pastor. But, then, today, Nick Kristoff wrote an OP-Ed about just how qualified BO is over and against every other candidate in both parties. How did that come about? Well, BO was a kid in Indonesia with street cred that gives him (get this) more domestic and foreign affairs experience than anyone. Now since BO is a minority and will never, never be criticized by anyone Left of Center because of fear of racism, that statement is just silly. Poor Libby. He has his career ruined and though people on the Right will speak up for him as I do, he will just slip out of memory as the Left ramps up for even more attacks on his bosses, Cheney and Bush. Yep, BO is not an empty suit according to Kristoff but Libby will be wearing an orange jump suit because he can be criticized and jailed over a lie, not by him but by the Wilsons , the DNC, the Left.

Hate Speech Part 2

 Well, the heat is on Ann Coulter. Supposedly, Ann is a Christian conserv Pub. She used the term faggot in a joke dealing with the Edward's campaign. Now the Pubs, Christians are having to use PC lingo themselves to dis Ann on this. After all, no one in the USA today is allowed to joke about homosexuals. Now, of course, it is OK for anyone, the Left, especially, to joke, demean, and use hate speech against any Pub, Conservative, Christian. That is just fine. For years, the Left has used death terms for all of the above. Yep, fine to kill off Cheney, Bush, Reagan, even Christians. The NY Times, Bill Maher, HBO all love it and it is just fine. Let one joke, poorly used at CPAC where it should not have been done, (Just Google Right terms against the Left-you will see few slang,swearing words against the Left) and we find this is just not how conservs-Pubs state issues.  It is the Left which used Hate Speech every day on its blogs, on its Comedy shows, in its mags, and gets away with it. ConservPubChristians have to walk a walk on thin egg shells with every word and action it takes. The Left can get away with any charge , unfounded or not. Still, Ann goofed. But, would it not be a great thing if some blogger had the guts to show the American public just what the homosexual life style is about, the sexual acts, the films, the porn that is part of that community without PC restraints? What if the sin was exposed and there was also the offer of forgiveness , salvation and understanding by the Christian community? Would it make a difference? Would hate speech on all sides stop? What if we just spoke truth, let the chips fall where they may? Be not affraid to speak out in Biblical, Godly terms to all speakers of hate speech. Tell swearers, jokesters, slangsters that what we say can be evil. Might it help? I don't know but on the Right, we cannot afford to use the styles of the ungodly, the blasphemous and must offer love, help and forgiveness to all. After all, that is the Christian thing to do.

United we stand?

I keep wondering that after the '06 electoral disaster, when ConservPubs will finally realize that they must unite and stop killing their wounded, other GOPers. Yes, I am a conservative first. But, I realize and have since 1960, that only the Republican Party is nationally able to enact any of my agendas and issues. Reagan knew that. Today, we are flirting around with pols like Hunter, Tancredo , Huckabee, Paul , Brownback when any seasoned analyst of politics knows that none of those guys is going to win nationally. None could beat Her Highness or BO. None. And the purists who are looking to a Third Party just do not remember history. So, that leaves us with people who are not perfect. Heck, the Democrats never have a perfect not even a saintly candidate running at any time, yet they unite behind their Devil to win or at least to compete. Republicans seem to want a saint, a god, a purist, and a commander in chief all wrapped up in one guy or gal. It is not going to happen. Ronaldus Magnus comes along once in history. We are not going to have another Reagan. We are stuck, err, we have in our midst now two candidates with warts. Mitt and Rudy G. St. John is out and unless Newt gets in, those are the two Republicans will have to support until and including Super Tues. next Feb., 2008 when all the major primaries will be held. So, please, let us stop shooting our wounded and unite to First elect a good solid conservPub Congress and a solid Prez and VP candidates who while not perfect will not endanger the Republic like the real Enemy. Any Democrat!

Hate Speech

I wonder how many Americans really hate the President and Dick Cheney? The last 6 years have seen unbelievable rants against these two people. Not even Bubba Clinton was as hated and none of the books at that time called for his death. What is it about lefty Democrats which make them simply hate instead of just disagreeing with their enemies. And politics has enemies. Arnold of Ca. is wrong . In real politics, one side or the other wins and they win because lots of people agree with the politics and policies of that Party. So, hate is the inspiration against the Pubs, Christians, Conservatives and boy howdy, Cheney and Bush. Once before, it was Reagan. Remember? FDR said he welcomed the 'hate' of his enemies. But, no one has seen the blogs, the books that the Left has written and spoken over the last few years with such madness  and I mean that in the psychotic way! The Dems are now in the grip of the Left and pacifist socialism. It is no wonder that Gorisms are so favored by these people. They would never admit it, but they also hate America's success whether in the economy, the military,  or the spiritual side of America.  Rush has quoted a great 19th century author, GK Chesterton, who said, 'when you do not believe in God, you believe in anything,' I love the media and party apparatcheks who are saying that Dems are looking to capture 'religious people in '08'. The fact is, their God has become GAIA or some other spelling of an absurdity, the Earth Goddess, Wisdom, Feminizm anything that smacks of secular humanism and scientific Darwininism. They have thrown over the Judeo-Christian heritage we once had. They will not say that like they will scream that no one should question their patriotism. Still, if it quacks like a duck, walks like a duck and eats duck food, it might just be a duck. Ducking is a real good word for the Left nowadays!

Academy Award Aversion

Frankly, I am tired of the Left Leaning Entertainment Industry giving themselves award after award and then shoving it into the public's face as if it is a hugely important cultural must and oh, so, very meaningful. If one wanted to watch TV tonight, one is faced with old, old flicks, old , old shows, reruns and I was waiting for the new episode of HBO's Rome. Nope. I peered across the ledger and all I saw was things I have seen over the years. Not week, months, but years. The Industry was telling viewers, The Awards Show was it. And btw, all of you will have to say Algore's film is very meaningful and if Bush or anyone doesn't agree, well you know what they are! It appears that TV is filled with shows slapping the backs of entertainers. Songs, music, dancing, films, plays are a wonderful part of our intellectual world in the USA and all cross the globe. But, like sports, which I love, it is after all The Toy Shop of Life. We are American Idoled out. The more the fluff, the more the knowledge of moral, economic, political,military, educational items is drowned out. Yes, people do vote with their Clicker. Makes one wonder just how the media,which also congratulates itself over and again, has brainwashed us. And IKE was afraid of the military-industrial complex. Maybe. But, over the years, it is the media-led and inspired Entertainment Industry which fills the mind, eye and soul with , yes some excellent stuff, but also with tripe and ideology and space-fillers which leads to an uninformed and uninspired public. I think I will read a book tonight.

Will the media cover the GOP Prez' guys fairly?

Now this question is just plain silly. But, it should not be. So far and ever since Nov.,'06, the media on all levels has seemingly covered Hillary, Obama, Edwards to the detriment of a fair coverage of Rudy G, Newt, Mitt. Now, I purposedly left out Senator McCain. The media loves him as long as he bashes Bush, the war, and any other Republican policy that the media and the Lefty Dems also dislike.  But, if and when McCain actually gets some primary stuff done, the media will crucify him too. All that most people can do is to turn to Talk Radio, The Net, blogs and some cable-satellite shows like Fox to get some info on the Gop candidates. That is why it will be necessary for the BASE of the GOP, the social, economic, religious conservs, libertarians to join together when the Prez nomination is finally won. From what one reads on so many conserv blogs and forums, it may be a huge problem since there is no one with Reagan like charms, politics, or policies. No Pure stuff, if you know what I mean?  The media will do its hatchet job for the DNC.  And if Pubs of all sorts do a Nov. '06 again, the '08 election will simply be a debacle for the Party but far worse, for conservative foreign policy hopes and domestic sanity. This is a very important election. The party pols will wheedle, the bloggers will blast, the forums will wail and keep saying there is no Pub worth electing. And No, Newt will not get elected nor even nominated for the top spot though he is obviously the smartest pol with the greatest vision around. Both he and Hunter or Santorum or someone else like Mike Pence might make a good VP choice. But, frankly, it will be either Rudy G, McCain, Mitt, and that will be that. The media will smile, and as long as Keith O and NBC are around, quite openly about the evil Republicans so there will not be fair play for the Pubs. That leaves any sane Republican to do his or her own research, keeping their wallets ready for the winner and supporting the Party choice because not to do so will wreak horror on this nation. Islamofascism is rooting for the Dems. That alone should get the BASE voters to go all out to defeat the Quisling Dems.

The candidate's faith

 We have just celebrated ( with mostly sales and bargains) the leadership of both Washington and Lincoln. Both, by the way, have been featured in recent (2006-07) books stating their own faith in God and how they both believed that our form of democracy must be undergirded by a strong Biblical faith. Now we are in the midst of the 2008 campaign. All the candidates will be questioned on their own faiths. Not only Romney but Hillary, Obama, McCain, and Rudy G.  Why?  Because people , the political junkies like myself, know that what a person believes is important when they make life or death decisions. That is why I never trust a Democrat leftist pacifist socialist, which is now the huge majority of that Party, with our national security concerns. I do not trust them with crime and public safety issues. They do not believe in capital punishment. I do and so do many other types of religious people. In America, most religious people understand the 10 Commandments even as leftists try to do away with them.  It will not just be about Mormonism in this campaign. It will be about who do we trust with American heritage, values and our standing in the world. That means that we will be seeing what undergirds and is the foundation of the candidate's actions and words. There will be a time, unfortunately, when American voters will elect an atheist, an agnostic or even a religion which has no American or Western Civilization's roots. But, that is not now. And 2008 will be a hugely important election. We still face Islamofascism and will for a generation. Who we choose to combat that evil will resound for years. And do not forget, the President chooses our federal jurists who will decide much of our domestic issues over that same generation. Dual importances. And faith even enters into those choices~!

The Dem Senate, BBC programs

  Well, we all know, those of us who are really political junkies, that the Dem Senate failed on last Sat's vote to undermine our troops in Iraq but only by a 56-30plus vote. Then we heard that Murtha and Reid, two Dem leaders in the Congress have a long term plan to undermine Bush as Commander in Chief over Iraq , Iran and Syria. They want to handicap not only Bush but our military all in the understanding because Dems really want to protect our military!!!!!!! What? Ya Think? Look, we all know that our media is horribly left winged slanted in both news and even  situation comedies and dramas. We all know that the Dems think that the public wants us to get out of Iraq and allow them, the Dems, to run our foreign policy. Sort of like European socialists in France, Italy, Spain, Germany and even England. So, for the last few nights, on BBCAmerica, my wife and I have been watching a program called, The State Within.  It is an exiting 24 like drama,spy, terrorist, story. But, the kicker is, the USA is behind all the terrorism along with those bad companies which produce arms , military supplies. Then too, there is the honest Islamic patriot who will give good govt. to his imaginary Muslim former Soviet state. Of course, he is killed by American-British pol interests who really want to blacklist all good Muslims who of course, do not really want war except all those minor Islamic nutters. I have spent hours watching this and I will end my time next Sat. on BBCAmerica to see just how the SECDEF of the USA will be exposed as a warmonger and how British liberals, media hound, and anti-death penalty supporters will either come out on top or be put down by the horrid American Industrial-military complex.  Get the picture?  BTW, no criticism of the real Muslim terrorists. Except by the SECDEF, who really is planning war on all innocent Muslims!!! I wonder if anyone else has noted this program?! I wonder if media experts will note it? I wonder if conserv media will speak out? Will anyone speak out against this obvious British import which blames America for terrorism?  I doubt it.
