A few months ago, and even longer, some people in the USA and Canada tried to be human shields in the ongoing Iraqui war against Islamofascism. then the Mennonite MCC and other Mennonite churches tried a so called dialogue with the Iranian terrorists. Other people wrote articles about how we should use pacifism in our relations with Muslims. After all, we are told piously, we Americans are the real enemies of freedom, the cause of all the globe's ills including global warming and the use of too much energy! Ridiculous of course but leftists world wide and in the USA think this is the Gospel truth. Using the term Gospel, is silly when discussing liberalism but some of these types of so called Christians think we must have dialogue because it is America's fault that Iran is so upset with us and is building nuclear weapons! Now talking is often good in interpersonal problems as well as international problems but talking with nuts, talking with mass murderers is simply to me not very helpful. If the terrorist killers wish to stand down, stop building A-weapons, stop financing terrorism worldwide, or as Reagan said, Trust but verify, perhaps dialogue would then be possible. But not till then. Barak Obama and liberals, take note!
